Roots & Shoots Microgreen Farm is a South Florida based indoor vertical microgreen farm specializing in producing fresh microgreens and herbs harvested to order. We grow locally and deliver to chefs, restaurants, home kitchens, markets, and small grocers who value freshness, consistency and quality in every harvest.
Not All Microgreens Are the Same
One of the biggest complaints we hear about microgreens is poor shelf life. Most commercially available microgreens are grown hydroponically and sold through large distribution systems where speed and yield is often prioritized over overall quality, shelf life, flavor, and growing practices.
Ours are grown differently.
We focus on sustainability. We grow in soil, focusing on soil health, creating a proper ecosystem for our greens to thrive, proper plant structure, flavor, and shelf life so they hold up in real kitchens, not just on your delivery day. By growing in soil we ensure the highest nutrient content and quality of our greens.
Our microgreens are grown for chefs and consumers who care about elevation, quality, nutrient content, and consistency on their plates.
We personally guarantee the full shelf life of 2-4 weeks and consistent greens every time.

Roots & Shoots Farm Management System
We run our farm on a system we built in-house covering seed lots, harvest records, inventory, financials, and full trace records for every crop. Every batch can be traced from seed to delivery, which is how we stay organized and keep accurate records for food safety and audits.
